Yorkshire Green Fuels Ltd has sold hundreds of its tried and tested biodiesel processors over the last three years. The processor converts vegetable oil (including used cooking oils) into bio diesel, which can be used in your car's diesel engine without modification. Although bio diesel will have similar carbon emissions to fossil based diesel, it is environmentally more favourable because it does not deplete the world's stock of fossil fuel. It is also much cheaper than conventional diesel!

We have now launched our Hydrogen Generator Kit for Car Engines - which will work for petrol, diesel or LPG powered vehicles. There is no need to use a cylinder of hydrogen, which could be dangerous in an accident, because the hydrogen is produced at low pressure in a generator within the engine compartment, using either electrolytic or chemical methods. The electrolytic process produces hydrogen cheaply from bi-carbonate of soda and distilled water, using current from the car battery and is controlled by the ignition switch. The hydrogen goes into the engine air intake, where it replaces up to 25% of the fuel vapour entering the combustion cylinders. Hydrogen is ignited in the engine to produce water vapour only as a bi-product, thereby reducing carbon emissions by up to 25% and increasing your mileage per gallon by a corresponding amount. Electrolysis Method

• Power from your car battery generates hydrogen from bicarbonate of soda in an electrolytic cell.
• Produces up to 2 litres of hydrogen per minute - a 3 litre engine can make use of approx. 1 litre per minute.
• Raw materials are distilled water and bicarbonate of soda.
• Hydrogen generation stops when you turn off your ignition.

Chemical Method

• Generates hydrogen from waste aluminium (e.g. cans and foil) in caustic soda solution.
• 1 gram of aluminium produces 1.2 litres of hydrogen (about 1 minute of engine use).
